Solution 2: Using a Shortcode (Requires Pro Version)

Many users prefer to use powerful form builder plugins like WPForms to create complex forms. These plugins typically use a shortcode to display the form on a page. A common point of confusion is that the free version of SeedProd does not support shortcodes within its blocks. This is a technical decision to prevent potential conflicts with other plugins on a site's live environment.

The Pro version of SeedProd includes a dedicated Shortcode block that allows you to safely integrate forms from plugins like WPForms, Gravity Forms, and others. This is often the easiest method if you require a complex form with multiple fields and deeper integration.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Form Code Not Appearing: The most common cause is caching. Ensure you clear your browser cache, any WordPress caching plugins, and your hosting provider's server cache.
  • Mailto Buttons: If you want a button to open the user's default email client, use an HTML block or the button widget and set the link to mailto:[email protected].
  • Form Styling: HTML forms from external services may not match your page's style perfectly. You can add custom CSS to the Custom CSS box under the Advanced tab to adjust the form's appearance.
